New develop product SG830 Boost dc Duck dc products:
- SG830 Module Role:As a configurable boost/buck converter, it adapts the variable DC output of PV panels (which fluctuates with light intensity) to match the voltage level of the frequency converter's DC bus. This ensures stable integration of PV power into the existing system.
- Mixed Power Supply Logic:By merging mains power and PV power at the frequency converter's bus, the system prioritizes PV energy when available, reducing reliance on grid electricity. The CV (Constant Voltage) and CC (Constant Current) modes of the SG830 help maintain bus voltage stability and prevent overcurrent, protecting both the PV system and the frequency converter.
- Energy Conservation Impact:This setup directly cuts mains power consumption by utilizing renewable PV energy, aligning with energy-saving goals. It’s particularly useful in industrial or commercial scenarios where frequency converters (e.g., for motors, pumps) have high power demands.
- Practical Considerations:
PV Voltage Variability: The SG830 must dynamically adjust (boost or buck) as PV voltage changes to keep the bus voltage within the converter’s operating range.
Power Balance: Coordination between mains and PV inputs is needed to avoid overloading the bus, possibly requiring additional control logic (e.g., monitoring bus voltage/current to adjust PV contribution).
Efficiency: Ensure the SG830 operates efficiently across its boost/buck range to minimize energy loss during conversion.
Overall, this integration is a effective way to hybridize grid and PV power for frequency converter applications, enhancing energy efficiency.
It is equipped with built-in photovoltaic MPPT function, and the tracking efficiency can reach 99.9%. Plug
gable type keyboard, parameter Settings, the Modbus/RS485 communication function; To wear a wall installation.

Installation method and heat dissipation:

PV+ and PV- are on the low-voltage side:
If the boost mode is selected, the low-voltage side is directly connected to the PV voltage
If it is the buck mode, the low-voltage side is connected to the bus P+ and P- of the inverter
Out+ and Out- are on the high-voltage side:
If in the boost mode, the high-voltage side is connected to the inverter DC bus P+ and P-
If in the buck mode, the high-voltage side is connected to the photovoltaic input voltage
Note:
Select the boost mode or the buck mode, and the wiring should be consistent with the software settings;
The low-voltage side voltage will automatically flow to the high-voltage side, and it is not controlled by the module; reverse flow will not occur automatically;
Whether it is the low-voltage side or the high-voltage side, the voltage is distinguished as positive and negative. It cannot be connected in reverse; otherwise, the module will be damaged.
Monitoring parameter function code table:
Parameter Settings and operation parameter monitoring can be carried out through an external keyboard. Parameter is set in the B0 group; Monitoring parameters in the U1 group;

The SG830 module supports one RS485 communication channel and Modbus protocol. Irfpa support DI terminal 2 road input, support the keyboard; Communication function code PD group of parameters, can be installed from the machine address, baud rate, data format, etc.;
